If my unit is iced up, should I turn it off?
Yes, turn the system off and turn the fan on to help defrost. Be sure to check the filter before scheduling a service call. If the filter is clogged, this could be the cause of the ice up.
My unit is not cooling, the thermostat is blank.
Check the drain, if it is clogged the system should be serviced. If you have acces to a wet vac you can empty the pan and vacuum the drain to get by until regular business.
How often should i change my filter?
In most cases, every 30 days is sufficient but it depends on your surroundings and environment. The type of filter you use (whole house, pleated, throw away, etc.) also will dictate the frequency of change.
How does your 24 hour service work?
From 8 am to 5 pm monday through friday you will reach either a technician or an office worker to take your call. After 5pm and on weekends you may get an attendant, just follow the prompts. Residential a/c calls are run until 8 pm Mon - Sat. Commercial and Marine a/c and refrigeration is 24 hours 7 Days 365.
The owner started his career at age 14 when his late brother and the company's namesake urged him to learn a trade. Mark applied to and was accepted into Tampa Bay Vocational Technical High School. While going to school David would take Mark on service calls to gain knowledge and experience. After graduation, Mark worked at David's company until David moved from the area. Mark worked for a few other service companies before starting this company in 2019. The logo is a drawing by Mark's Daughter of a photo taken by David's son on a fishing trip.
